Your Magickal Spell For June 2nd – Home Protection Mirror Spell

Fairy Images, Quotes, Comments, Graphics
HOME PROTECTION MIRROR SPELL

Compose an altar: place a censer in the center before an image of
the Goddess.  Have a twelve-inch (or so) round mirror there as well.
Ring the altar with nine white candles.   Burn a protective incense
(such as sandalwood, frankincense, copal or rosemary) in the censer.
Beginning with the candle most directly before the Goddess image,
say these or similar words:

                Lunar light protect me!

Repeat as you light each candle until all are glowing.
Now, holding the mirror, invoke the Goddess in her lunar aspect
with these or similar words:

Great Goddess of the Lunar Light
                  and Mistress of the Seas;
Great Goddess of the Mystic Night
                  and of the Mysteries;
Within this place of candles bright
                  and with Your mirror nigh;
Protect me with Your awesome might
                  while ill vibrations fly!

Standing before the altar, hold the mirror facing the candles so
that it reflects their flames.  Keeping the mirror toward the candles,
move slowly, clockwise, around the altar, watching the reflected
firelight bouncing off your surroundings.

Gradually increase your speed, mentally invoking the Goddess to
protect you.  Move faster and faster; watch the light shattering the
air, cleansing it, burning away all negativity and all lines along
witch the ill energies have traveled into your home.

Charge your home with the protective light of the Goddess.  Race
around the candles until you’ve felt the atmosphere change, until you
feel  that  your home has been cleansed and guarded by the Great
Goddess.

When finished, stand once again before the image.  Thank the
Goddess in any words you wish.  Pinch out the candles one by one, bind
them together with white cord and store them in a safe place until
(and if) you need to use them again for this same purpose

these powerful feelings into love.

and goodness. I am created from your

essence, and  I thank you for the gift of

life. Please teach me to be patient and

humble, tolerant and gentle, especially

when life’s problems become heavy and

WOTC’s Spell of the Day for Feb. 17th – Cat Dreams

Cat Dreams

This spell teaches you how to energetically shape shift into a cat in your dreams. Shape shifting allows you merge with a particular animal spirit and to bring the power and wisdom of this spirit into your own being. It means you can be as sleek, sure-footed, and cunning as a cat when you need to be. These can be very good traits which is why cats are so adaptive and prone to survival. Their ancestors have been around for thousands and thousands of years.

You will need pictures of cats and sandalwood incense. Cats come in many different colors, sizes and personality types. Become familiar with these many faces of cats, and in particular, what face most closely resembles who you are as a person. Take time to observe as many cats as you can. Watch how they interact with other cats and how they interact with humans. Merge with the cat spirit and become one with the cat Goddess, Bast.

Tonight before you go to sleep, put the pictures of cats on your altar and light the sandalwood incense. Call out to the cat Goddess Bast:

Dear Bast, Goddess of the divine feline

Please come to me tonight during dreamtime.

Blessed dreams! Blessed Be!

As you close your eyes to go to sleep, let the images of cats move through your mind’s eye. Merge with the cat spirit, and repeat to yourself as you drift to sleep:

Tonight I dream with the cat spirit. Blessed be, Bast!

The Wicca Book Of Days for February 17th – Kali, the Killer

The Wicca Book Of Days for February 17th

Kali, the Killer

It is generally said that Kali, “the Black One,” the Hindu Goddess of destruction and death, was born on February 17th, 3102 BC, and that her birth inaugurated the Kali Yuga (“Evil Age”) in which we are still living. As the shakti, or dynamic feminine energy, that emanates from Shiva, “The Destroyer.” Kali is envisaged with a black tongue and skin, and as having a ferocious temperament and an insatiable thirst for the blood that sustains her. She is typically depicted wearing a necklace of severed heads and wielding an arsenal of blood-drenched weapons in her many hands.

“Serpentine Shakti”

Shakti energy lies coiled and dormant at the base of the spine, but bliss can be attained after it has been awakened and has risen through all seven chakras to the crown of the head. If you long to experience the ecstasy of Shiva’s union with his shakti, either practice kundalini yoga tonight or sign up for classes!

Today’s Meditation

Rainbow Meditation

Colours are waves of light energy that have direct physiological and psychological effects. We can use them in meditation to influence our feelings and perceptions. To perform this meditation, choose a hue that represents the qualities, you would like to cultivate in that particular moment. Then cut a square or circle from a piece of paper or fabric in that shade and use the shape as a fous for your meditation.

Alternative, focus on a coloured object allowing the color rather than the form to dominate your consciousness, or visualize a colour, allowing it to fill your mind.

It’s Friday, Friday! TGIF! In Case You Haven’t Heard, “IT’S FRIDAY!

Friday Pictures, Images, Comments, Graphics

I just couldn’t resist this cutie! It reminded me too much of my Stinker. In fact, it looks like something the little goofy would do, if he could, lol! I would have been here sooner, but……Razzy decided she wanted to be super loveable this morning. Compared to yesterday morning, I will take this Razzy any day. Yesterday, I don’t know what was wrong with her. She was like hell on four paws, gee! We all got up at 3 a.m., and the more I cleaned and picked up, the more she tore up. Then when I sit down at the computer, here she would come with her string. She gets her string, in her mouth, and comes and wraps it around my ankle. That’s her way of telling me she wants to play.

Let me tell you this and then I will hush for the day, maybe, lol! I had a phone call the other day from a contractor that was supposed to be from our phone company. He wanted to know if anyone was going to be home. He was going house to house drawing up plans for the phone company to lay fiber optic line for people who had DSL. Well I told this man, we no longer had DSL with the phone company. He told me, he couldn’t help that, they had me down as having DSL. Since they had me down as having DSL, he had to come out and draw up the plans. I finally said, “Hell, come on!” After I hung up with him, I got to thinking about all the home invasions that have been happening around here. Great, what if this old boy is with a bunch that is doing these home invasions? I just gave him an open invitation to come on over and invade me! I got to thinking what would be a great way to meet him at the door. We have guns, rifles, shotguns and all that mess but I really don’t like to messing with them. So it hit me, get Razzy! I tracked her little butt down just as the man was knocking on the door. He came in and acted like he wasn’t  in a hurry to get to work. He kept talking and talking. I brought up about all the wildlife we have out here in the boonies. He was telling me about a cougar a few miles down the road that had practically killed a horse. Then I told him about the momma wildcat and her kittens that had come up to our house. He said you mean, “a bobcat?” I said, “Oh, yes, I call her a wildcat but she is really a bobcat.” Then he got nervous. He wanted to know if she was “in the house?” I told him, yes she was, most of the time she stays in the bedroom with me. But when I get up she generally goes with me wherever I go. He started looking around the kitchen real nervously. I told him it was ok she was right here. Then I moved and Razzy was sitting right on the edge of the cabinet. I thought this man was going to crap his pants. It was funny, all of a sudden he didn’t want to talk anymore. He had to get to work, NOW! He went out and drew up some plans. He had said he needed me to approve them before he left. He came back up to the porch and wanted to know if I could come outside and approve them. I told him, no, he would have to come in. He stepped about a foot inside the door. He kept his hand on the knob all the time. I approved the plans and he left. After he left I got to feeling bad about what I had done. Then again, I didn’t know him. He could be a contractor that cased out houses for the home invaders. These days you never know. But I did find out one thing, I have the greatest deterrent ever, Razzy! Word gets around that the crazy lady that lives here has a bobcat in the house, we will be avoided like the plague, lol! Instead of ADT, I have BDT!!! Can I sign you up?

Enough with my BS, I hope everyone has a great Friday! Also Monday is President’s Day, I hope you have a long weekend. We all could use an extra day of rest and relaxation!

Have a great one!

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’
By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

At these times when we have planned for something and have our hearts set on our affairs going in a certain direction but they fail to materialize, we are disappointed. If we have any faith at all, we must remember that one door never closes but another opens. That which once seemed the right thing to plan for may not hold all the things that would be for our good in the long run. It may have been right in the beginning, but as time passes and other events come into being, a change may be necessary for the benefit of the over-all picture.

Sometimes we fix our attention so rigidly on one thing, one part of life, one person, that a change throws us into a state of extreme disappointment. But disappointment, like all of the emotions, can serve to strengthen rather than take away. The attitude with which we face life can determine its outcome.

We can look with woeful eyes on the negative mental attitude and wallow in self-pity, or we can flip the mind to the upper side and let the positive mental attitude bring us to the strength and peace we need.

Disappointment is something no one has escaped. The many plans we make sometimes fade like mist in the sunlight. A cherished dream may take another shape and to lose that vision can throw a dim view on all of life. Because one tiny part could not be fulfilled, we are so tempted to let all of the rest go with it.

But if only we could wait a bit. So often we then come to realize the reason for our change in plans.

Sometimes disappointment is the very thing that keeps us mounting the steps upward, keeps us stretching our minds to understand. And it may test our spirits. For is disappointment can make a spirit better, the joy of accomplishment would have soon soured.

There’s no joy in a disappointment, but it may be the thing to save us from a life of mediocrity.

English novelist Edward George Bulwer-Lytton wrote, “Man must be disappointed with the lesser things in life before he can comprehend the full value of the greater.”
