This tonic will ease tension and anxiety and take the edge off a bad day. Use it as a sleep tonic:

2 small tang kuei roots (or 1 large slice)

2 jujube red dates

4 (2-inch) slices white peony root

The dragon is an ancient symbol of an electrically charged, dynamic, arousing force that bodes well for creative initiatives. If your goals are in alignment with the greater good, your actions will meet with success, but this can only happen if you apply yang energy in a positive way. This hexagram, which consists of all yang lines, indicates a good time to take a leadership role, because Creative Power is with you now. But be forewarned: success turns to failure if you let strength turn to arrogance.

Believe in your vision and persevere; everything around you will flourish. Call upon Creative Power and let it work through you. Stay focused on your goals. Your Daily Horoscopes for May 25th

The dreamy Pisces Moon increases our fantasies and encourages us to escape from reality. We are tempted to act impulsively on our unconventional ideas because the Sun’s early morning sextile to wild and crazy Uranus provokes risky behavior. But radical actions will have sobering ramifications when reckless Mars forms an ill-adjusted quincunx with karmic Saturn. We must learn from our mistakes and do whatever is necessary to be responsible.

Aries Horoscope
Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Your planetary ruler Mars prompts you to initiate action without considering the consequences, while taskmaster Saturn enforces a very different set of rules today. You must justify every single thing you set out to do now or circumstances could prevent you from accomplishing your goals. Unfortunately, even with a well-conceived strategy, it’s still not easy to get much done. Paradoxically, it’s counterproductive to push so hard, so ease up and take cues from those around you.

Taurus Horoscope
Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

Subconscious drives increase your desire to act decisively today, but common sense tells you to use self-restraint in all that you do. It’s difficult to find the right amount of force as you attempt to make your dreams come true, yet turning them into reality can be very rewarding. Avoiding unseen problems is easier if you just make time to analyze your options before doing something you might regret.

Gemini Horoscope
Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

You may be confused because it seems as if everyone thinks you should be handling things differently. However, none of their ideas feel exactly right to you. Don’t question your own judgment today; others might not be able to see your truth. Self-doubt is unproductive; go ahead and trust your intuition now, even if it is contrary to the well-intended advice you receive.

Cancer Horoscope
Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

Your confidence is high as you imagine what you will be doing later in the day, but your actual actions may be thwarted by circumstances beyond your control. Unfortunately, you might have already made bold commitments that you don’t want to break, leaving you little time to achieve your objectives. Although your optimism will probably wane, it doesn’t make sense to play the role of a victim. Stand your ground; do as much as you possibly can today and save the rest for tomorrow.

Leo Horoscope
Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

The spontaneous Sun-Uranus sextile tempts you to skip out on your obligations, but avoiding your responsibilities now is not a smart move. Instead of following a whim today, it makes a lot more sense to cool your heels and resign yourself to delaying the fun until you have completed your objectives for the day. But if you meet too much resistance, try backing off just a little bit. Pushing against an immovable obstacle won’t be productive and could even tire you out.

Virgo Horoscope
Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You have a real action plan today and you’re eager to get started. But someone may not be as supportive as you wish, making success an uphill battle. It might even seem as if others are purposefully working to sabotage your efforts, but it’s not helpful to get sidetracked by this kind of drama. Instead of worrying about anyone else now, just show up and do the best you can. If your strategy makes sense, your determination will gradually overcome the resistance.

Libra Horoscope
Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You may feel as if every step you take is being blocked today, but your attitude might just be the result of your frustration. If you are unhappy about what you are currently doing, suppressing your disappointment is not healthy. Avoiding your feelings can trick your psyche into unconsciously seeking out the negativity that you have pushed into the shadows. Rather than struggling to get your message across, consider what you need to learn before trying again.

Scorpio Horoscope
Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

If you are annoyed with someone’s obstinacy today, go ahead and bring your feelings out into the open. If you don’t, a small irritation could begin to fester and become a serious problem. However, caution is also advised if you decide to reveal your current frustration because you may make matters worse if you blame a friend or associate for your dilemma. Minimize your anxiety and relieve the tension by sharing your inner process without judging anyone else.

Sagittarius Horoscope
Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Your impatience could create tension if you demand too much from someone today. You might even try to control things by exercising more authority. Unfortunately, this ineffective management style could create problems. It is wiser to be honest and express your vulnerability by letting others know about your areas of concern. However, it’s not useful to expect them to fix your problems, but a healthy exchange of ideas can reveal something important you didn’t know.

Capricorn Horoscope
Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Your methodical approach to work may not be as effective as you wish today, and this could annoy you so much that you grow angry. It takes a lot to knock you off track, yet now the little things pile up until they seem like a crisis. It’s more important to build a stable foundation on which to stand than trying to reach your goals overnight. Don’t get distracted by your fear of failure; instead, just pay attention to the ground beneath your feet and the task right in front of you.

Aquarius Horoscope
Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Someone may be making demands that require you to adjust your calendar today, but all your efforts seem to be for naught. Once the fabric of your day begins to unravel, nothing you do seems to put it all back together again. You could consume a lot of energy trying to reestablish your sense of order, but it’s probably smarter to let the house of cards fall. Once the dust has settled you’ll be able to recreate your schedule better than ever.

Pisces Horoscope
Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

It’s unnerving if a good friend becomes overly critical today. Although you are rightfully upset by this apparent betrayal, it’s likely that you’re expecting too much. Rather than stubbornly holding on to your previous assumptions, relax your grip on the situation by temporarily releasing your attachment to your goals. Ironically, as you let go, others may begin to show the encouragement that they were previously withholding.
