Hey Y’all! How Ya’ Doing This Super, Fine Saturday Morning!

Hello Images, Quotes, Comments, Graphics

Good morning, my sweets! How are y’all doing this fine Saturday morn? I hope fantastic. I apologize about yesterday. I had some business I had to take care of. Then I had a lot of yard work to get done. As you know it has been in the 100’s around here and you just don’t feel like doing yard work in that weather.

This morning, I am running late because it is Saturday. No, not because I was sleeping late like most people. But because in Kentucky on Saturdays’ is our bath day, lol! Oh, my Goddess, I can feel the hexes coming now! Seriously though, I don’t know how it is in your neck of the woods. I grew up with the old saying, “Saturday is bath day because we’re going to town, Yippee!” Seriously! I can remember us going to town once a week, maybe? And it was a treat to go to town. I remember my father and I going to Kresggee’s (I know that isn’t spelled right). But it was a local variety store, it also had a café section in it. Momma would go shopping and daddy and I would hit the counter at the café part. They had the best strawberry pies in town. We would get us a piece and then daddy would  order one to take home. Which always started a fight! Momma would get mad because she would ask daddy, “if her cooking wasn’t good enough for him?” When I was a child I didn’t think a thing about these days. Now that I have grown up, I miss my mother and father. But I have memories, good memories, that will last a lifetime.

Oh, back to the shower ready quick. I wanted to show you why it takes me so long to take a shower these days.

Yep, this is the reason, Razzy! She doesn’t realize she isn’t suppose to like water. And, everywhere her mother goes, she thinks she is suppose to go too. It is a fight, trying to shower and then having to keep pushing her out of the shower, gee wiz!  But I was snapping photos the other day and caught her doing what she does best, prowling!!! I thought I would show you how my little baby has grown. Little, really doesn’t apply to her anymore!

Anyway, enough with the small talk, I hope you have a fantastic weekend, my friends. Be safe as always and much love…..

This is one of my favorite Irish blessings 🙂

“May those who love us, love us;

and those who don’t love us, may

God turn their hearts; and if He

doesn’t turn their hearts, may he

turn their ankles so we’ll know

them by their limping.”

Wishing You A Wild and Wacky Wednesday, my friends!

Days Of The Week Comments Good afternoon, my luvs! The graphic expresses exactly what I have seen for two days. I hope the sun is shining, it is warm and a beautiful day, wherever you are. We are having a very unusual Winter. It has been in the 60’s and raining for 2 days now. After I sit and watch it rain, I sort of get wild and wacky, thus the greeting above. I guess I get ants in my pants. I have to do something whether it is right or wrong, lol! I have already planned on cooking supper which is on the wacky side of me. I hate to cook. I can cook now. Everyone tells me I am a gourmet chef. I just cook like my mother did and she was a country cook. It wasn’t unusual for daddy to go out and shoot a squirrel. He would bring it home. Momma would skin it and cut it up. Then she would cook squirrel and gravy or just simply fry it. I know some of you just curled up your nose, squirrel? It is good. It actually tastes like chicken. I know everything odd taste like chicken, squid, octopus, rattlesnake, etc. But I am not planning anything like that for supper. We are going to have some ribs. Oh, I miss ribs in the Winter. But I have been baking them and they are delicious. After that I am sure I will find something else to get into.

But enough with my menu and my wild and wackiness on rainy days. Let’s get on with what’s important.

 Have a fantastic day!

 Be Your Own Best Friend

We often judge ourselves much more harshly than we judge our friends. Yet when we are loving toward ourselves, we flower into the essentially compassion beings that we really are. Close your eyes and imagine that you are our own est friend – a warm, caring person who sees you and thinks of you in a loving a supportive way. Acknowledge your good qualities to yourself and raise your recent successes, no matter how small. To finish, give yourself a hug. Enjoy th feeling of being truly loved for who you are.

Spellcrafting for Wednesday, Jan. 25th

RELAXATION RITUAL

Lay or sit in a place where you will not be disturbed for at least five minutes.
Get comfortable. If you are sitting, your back should be straight.
Sitting or lying down, your legs should be crossed.
If sitting, rest your hands, palms down, in your lap. Close your eyes.
Visualize a golden ball of beautiful, warm light surrounding your feet.
If you cannot “see” the golden ball when you visualize it, its okay, just know it is there. The ball of golden warm light always brings peace and total relaxation. Wherever the ball goes tension departs.
Now allow this ball of light to rise up your legs and up your torso.
Then allow it to go down your arms to your fingers, and finally up your neck and into your head until covered with total peace and relaxation and all tension is gone. If you feel tension anywhere, send the ball there and the tension will vanish. Stay in this state for a few moments. If you are having trouble sleeping, try this.

Be at one with yourself. When you are ready to come out of this state of deep relaxation, take three deep breaths and feel fresh life and energy coming out of your body with each breath.

Happy Wednesday, dear readers!

Even though neither one of these look like my cats, what can I say I love cats! My little baby, Razzy is turning into a Momma’s girl. She is so cute. I have been aiming to take a pic of her and put it on the blog. I just have to put the batteries in the camera, lol! We were playing in the floor last night. And Razzy is still not sure about my husband, she hopped up on the couch. When she did she ran right straight into hubby and she hissed at him. It was hilarious. She scared the crap out of him. He jumped ten feet off the couch, lol! But he didn’t appreciate it the way I did.  I told him, she had been trying to get to know him but he didn’t want anything to do with her. So what did he expect. He is really pissed because I brought another animal into the house. We had both agreed that when Kiki and Stinky passed on, we wouldn’t have anymore. But that night I brought Razzy in, we had an argument. He got mad because I brought her in. Then I asked him what did he want me to do put her back outside? He was very compassionate about that, “NO! NO! NO!” What’s wrong with you, you want her to get ate too? I am sure you know the answer to that. I just know how to work hubby, hee, hee, hee! Thank goodness after all these years he hasn’t figured that out yet. But anyway, I am going to put some pics on here one way or the other.

Well I guess I better run for now. I hope you have a fantastic day.

Luv & Hugs,

Lady A

Happy Sunday My Blog Friends!

Good Sunday Morning, my friends! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. Mine, I haven’t been up that long. I stayed up late last night playing with all my critters. It turned off cold here and I was putting on my long johns and a jacket. My husband came through and started to ask me, “where I was going?” But he stopped in mid-sentence and said, “never mind you are going to play with the critters.” He’s good, lol! I look like a pack mule taking all the bags of food outside. Anyway got all the “hogs” fed. I was leaned up against the porch and the old, old, mean wildcat walked over to me and just sit down. I started loving him and he just ate it up. I had a strange thought while I was rubbing his belly and tickling under his ear. I was the first person to ever do this. I had a tie that goes to my house coat. I pulled it out and started dangling it over him. He started smacking at it and playing like a young kitten. Another reason I am amazed at him, he is old and he has battle scars from all the battles he has fought. And yet, he has enough kitten in him he wants to play and be loved. Animals are truly a gift from the Goddess.

While I was sitting outside last night with my critters, the people who had stolen two of the kittens came home. I didn’t think nothing about it. I just don’t care if I ever speak to them again. Anyway back to the story, their daughter came running out of the garage screaming and crying. Well of course I had to sit up and take notice. Well the kid was on the porch crying, here came Momma and let her in. Then here comes Momma back to the garage. She was chewing her husband out so bad, I am surprised y’all didn’t hear her. What had happened was the kittens are big enough to get out of whatever they have them in. Old Pop’s there ran over one of them in their garage. It made me so angry. They stole something that was never meant to be there and the poor kittens are the one to have to suffer for it. I have thought on it and thought on it, the minute they all get in the car and go somewhere. I am going to the local kitten shoppe. I told my hubby what had happened. He was surprised and angier than I imagined he would be. He told me not to go over there by myself. He is going with me.  May I look at thing differently from others but those kittens should never had to suffer because of those people. I told hubby when we first moved out here I liked them. But now it’s a different story (and it has nothing to do with the kitten incident either).  They act like they are entitled to whatever they want. They don’t care if it belongs to someone or not, if they want they should have it. I don’t know if you know of any people like that are not. I know one thing, they test your patience. My poor patience have been stretched to their limit.

Well I guess I better run for now. I hope everyone has a great day and thank you for listening me to vent. Hopefully I won’t have to do that very often. But I have to admit I feel better now. While I got this warm and fuzzy feeling going on, I am going to run……..
