The Chakras represent the seven primary energy hubs in the body. Life force energy is constantly flowing in and out of these centers. Just as the cosmos is constantly changing, so too are the levels of energy absorbed and radiated by our Chakra centers. The graph below is a representation of the quantities of Chakra energies available today.

Aeon Aeon deals with our journey and constant transformation through time. It denotes both endings and beginnings, our ability to redeem ourselves through action, and hope for the future. Aeon teaches us to accept our past–embrace it as an essential component of our being–but not to allow it to keep our spirits from moving towards the future and finding our personal utopia. |

PRAYERS AND DEVOTIONS FOR THE SPRING SEASON
PRAYERS AND DEVOTIONS FOR THE SPRING SEASON I kindle my soul at the hearth-fires of the Kindler of Souls; breath of love, breath of light, breath of life, be upon the embers of my Spring-wakening soul. Preserve my soul in gladness May it flame forth with the sun's returning glory. ******************************************************* Goddess, teacher of my soul, I am inspired every time I contemplate your wonders. As the world celebrates the coming of Spring, help me to follow the path of my life and walk with me. Give me light to meet the questions of this day. ******************************************************* Goddess, today may I remember all newborn creatures about to begin their cycle of life. May they live and love in joyful awareness. ******************************************************* I make the encircling and go forth today under the power of the heavens, light of sun, radiance of moon, splendor of fire, speed of lightning, swiftness of wind, depth of sea, stability of earth, firmness of rock. From the heights, to the depths, may I be encircled in love and safety. ******************************************************** Under the tender cloak of night I clarify my soul, out of the evening reach of the wind; without guilt, without shame, without aversion, soul-friends and teachers all, help me clarify this day. I relinquish all the cares and burdens of my day into the deep lap of night. May my soul's teacher reshape them into wider pathways of understanding for me to walk. ******************************************************** I refresh my soul in the slowers of Spring, drop of light, drop of love, drop of life, be the blessing on my brow, my heart, my hands. May my soul be preserved in peace from Spring's dawn light, till Spring's twilight. ******************************************************** Creative Son, Skillful Daughter, between you the shuttle of life brightly runs like a child's colorful game. In the rhythm of your weaving I am enfolded. I gratefully put about my shoulders your garment of silence. ******************************************************** I make the encircling of the crafts about me this Spring day: delight of poetry, majesty of music, variety of art, vision of seership, compassion of healing, peace of prayer, spirit of druidry, inquiry of science, transformation of alchemy, Nine crafts about me, perfection of skill encompass my soul this day. ******************************************************* Snow-light turns to Spring-light's blessing, Bride-lights linger in the sky; twilight dews the flowers caressing, vision's gift through soul-veils fly. ******************************************************** I kindle my soul at the sown-flowers of Spring, bud of life, bud of light, bud of love, petals of my heart, preserve my soul in peace this day, from day's work to night's play. ******************************************************* As Spring awakens all energies from dormancy, so I call upon my soul's teacher to show to me how this day has led me out of isolation... May the passion of awakening life be granted to all who journey through the realm of Spring. ******************************************************* Goddess,Awakener of Spring, at the rising of the sun I take refuge in your presence: as plants bud and creatures prepare for the birth of their young, so do I await the blossoming of my heart in your stillness. May I walk with you this Spring day. ******************************************************** Goddess, as I wonder at the beauty of the world, I offer thanks and blessing from my heart's depths. I give thanks for the places that give me inspiration and continuity of spirit, especially for __________. I give thanks for the protective encircling of the elements.
Love yourself, love your neighbor, love your enemies, but begin with self-love. You cannot love others until you love yourself. You cannot share what you do not have. If you do not love yourself, you cannot love anyone else either. Don Miguel Ruiz
Daily Crystal: Brookite
Brookite can help us to withstand intolerable conditions and flow with the moment. It can attract and retain energy. It is an excellent stone to use to energize chakras, energy fields and environments, including energizing other crystals and minerals. It can help us understand our own “system of beliefs” and help us to correct those beliefs that do not benefit moving forward. It can help rid us of lethargy and apathy, helping us to find our hidden energy and move it toward creative and imaginative situations.
Chakras: Crown, Third Eye
Astrological sign: None
Daily Goddess Devotion

Daily Goddess Devotion
I love the gray sky’s of spring.
To let Her rain gently wash away the worries of a mundane world.
To let Her drops beat within your essence like great drums to fill your spirit.
Then as shadows over take Her silvery billows with the night;
To let Her liquid drops upon the roof tops sing a lullaby to your soul.

Runecast for Thursday March 17
Today our rune is Tiwaz of Tyr’s Aett
pronounced “tea-wawz” (T: Tyr, the sky god) Honor, justice, leadership and authority. Analysis, rationality. Knowing where one’s true strengths lie. Willingness to self-sacrifice. Victory and success in any competition or in legal matters.
A Ram on a precipice. He concentrates all his energy to get over it. With courage and dedication, you can defeat obstacles. This rune calls on you to show your willpower and concentrate your energy in one direction. If you have difficulties, don’t be frightened. Act like a warrior in battle, believe in your good luck and fight. The more sincerely you believe in your power, the more power and strength you will have. If you are challenged, accept the challenge because it will be to your advantage. In career matters you can achieve almost everything when this rune appears, but only through effort and dedication. The Tiwaz rune also advises you to get help from a strong and brave person. In personal relations, it may indicate a strong individual coming your way, but sometimes it means you must take a more forceful approach yourself to counter-balance a partner’s weakness.
Tiwaz Reversed or Merkstave: One’s energy and creative flow are blocked. Mental paralysis, over-analysis, over-sacrifice, injustice, imbalance. Strife, war, conflict, failure in competition. Dwindling passion, difficulties in communication, and possibly separation. (Note: the reversed or merkstave definitions are included only for reference as they apply to a multi-rune cast and not to a single rune that’s drawn blind from the pouch)
As with all, take only what feels right to you and disregard the rest.

Herb of the Day: Marigold
Also known as Bride of the Sun, Drunkard, Marybud, Goldes, Summer Bride. A Druid sacred herb.
…Parts Used: Flower and leaf
Magickal Uses: To strengthen and comfort the heart, pick marigolds at noon, when the sun is the hottest. To strengthen eyesight, gaze at marigolds. Garlands strung on door posts will prevent evil from entering the home. Scattered under the bed or placed in the mattress, they will protect you when you sleep and encourage prophetic dreams. Carry in your pocket when in court (legal) for a fair and just ruling. A legend is that when a girl touches the petals of the marigolds with bare feet, she will be able to understand the language of the birds. Add marigold to your bath to win the respect and admiration of your peers.
The history of the marigold’s use with aiding sight and providing visions to reclaim property indicate that the petals may be used alone or mixed with a dry incense to consecrate tools of divination. Indeed, Marigold petals may be gathered and dried and strew around the Circle to provide the magick of consecration and sight with a protective flavor.
There are few flowers better for rituals of death and dying than Marigolds. The dried petals may be added to incense, petals may be strewn in the path of the casket or urn and the Marigold may be planted at the gravesite. When giving honor to the beloved who has passed over, using Marigold will add a special, loving magick.

Daily Rune for 3/17
mannaz : man, humankind
Phonetic equivalent: m
- DIVINATORY MEANINGS:
- significator, self, family, community, relationships, social concerns
- MAGICAL USES:
- to represent a specific person or group of people; to establish social relationships
- ASSOCIATED MYTHS & DEITIES:
- Ask and Embla, Midgard
- ANALYSIS:
- In its broadest sense, mannaz represents all of humanity, and therefore the entire realm of Midgard. In more practical terms, though, it is those with whom we have personal connections, from our immediate circle of family and friends to the wider community around us, reminding us of our nature as social animals. It also represents our connection with the Gods and with nature, through the two Norse myths of the creation of humans; the first where they sprang from Ymir’s body, and the second in which they were created from two logs by a river. It takes the raw energy of ehwaz and controls it through our social conscience, reminding us of those we affect with our deeds both magical and mundane.
The rune itself resembles gebo with its joining of masculine and feminine elements, but is much more complete. It is the entire web of human relationships, with the self at the centre, which mirrors the web of fate explored through raiðo. But while that web was more or less fixed, this one is mutable and alive. Past and present, male and female, self and other – all opposites are joined here and made whole. Mannaz is our home, and speaks for all those whose lives we touch when we use the gifts we have been given through the runes
