Therefore, to keep this room from depleting both your bank account and life force, you might want to try some of the following solutions. Keep the bathroom door closed at all times. This keeps healthy energy from entering that room that can then get flushed away. Speaking of which, keep the toilet seat closed at all times. You should also keep a stopper in the shower and sink drains, as drains sap energy. Lastly, you can hang a full length mirror on the outside of the bathroom door so it will reflect the Chi of the house away from bathroom while also making the room ‘vanish’ from everyone’s attention. Traditionally entitled “Empress,” this major arcana or “trump” card portrays the energy of the Great Mother. She is Nature, around us but also within us, the ever-unfolding Source of life-giving power. She is often pictured as a pre-Christian Goddess, as the one whom the High Priestess is channeling down to earth for the rest of us.

In medieval Europe, the Empress card was painted to represent whatever Queen currently ruled the land, probably to satisfy the Inquisitors. But the scholars of the Renaissance and beyond had no doubt of her true identity, although she could not be fully revealed on Tarot cards as the “woman clothed with the sun” until after the French Revolution.

This supreme archetype of femininity also symbolizes fertility. It is She who provides us nourishment and security. She is also sometimes seen as delighting us with flowers and fruit. A potentially terrifying aspect of this archetype manifests itself whenever karmic mood swings wipe out our plans, like a storm that has come upon us. Whatever happens, the Empress is the Source of our Embodiment and of Natural Law. She might even be called “the Great Recycler.”

The early hours have an upbeat and favorable vibe due to the Moon in Aquarius making a harmonious trine with Jupiter in Gemini (2:49AM PST) followed just one minute later (2:50AM PST) by a Moon-Neptune parallel. Write down your dreams and nocturnal soul-wanderings for future consideration.  Tensions are back and causing a rise in stress as the Moon parallels Saturn (7:06AM PST), Pallas squares Vesta (8:02AM PST), and Mercury makes a frictional, 45-degree tie with Pluto (10:53AM PST). Taking a time-out from business-as-usual during these alignments is sensible.  Love bonds receive a solid lift due to the Moon forming a parallel with Venus (7:36PM PST). Around 21 hours before Pallas shifts gears from reverse to forward, Mercury forms a trine to Pallas in water signs (8:18PM PST). Feralia: Day of Purification

Altar: On a white cloth put a lit candle, incense, a cup of water, and a bowl of salt.
Offering: Although this day is not a day of total silence, it is a solemn day and talking should be done only when necessary and in quiet tones. Bodies should be thoroughly cleaned during the bathing hour, and then the altar area should be cleaned and purified with all four elements. Each person, upon entering the altar space at the beginning of Sponde should remove their clothing and be naked, and each body should be purified with the four elements and marked with water and salt, at which point they may enrobe again. Chores of the day should concentrate on cleaning and repair.
Daily Meal: Vegan and extremely simple and plain.

Feralia Invocation

Breathe the air into your body
And breathe out again,
And as you breathe out,
Let all grime and corruption
Depart on that breath
(All breathe together for twelve breaths.)
Feel the blood coursing through your body
And imagine it clean
Of anything but what should be there.
Feel the energy coursing through your body
And wash it clean
Of anything that does not belong.

(After this grounding, all breathe together again in a yogic breathing pattern for the next half an hour, after which all will go with water and salt and incense and fire to all rooms in the house and cleanse them. Great care should be taken for the rest of the day not to disturb the energy of the freshly cleaned house.)

The Witches Magick for November 19th – SPELL TO REFLECT NEGATIVITY

SPELL TO REFLECT NEGATIVITY

You will need your magic mirror or a consecrated small round mirror, a wide-mouthed glass jar, ashes, vinegar, a knife or something else sharp like a razor blade or piece of broken glass, and an apple.

After sundown, set the jar before the mirror and place in it some ashes.
Fill it up about 2/3 of the way with vinegar.
Take the apple and carve into it something that will represent the person or the negativity which follows or attacks you. Try and make it as clear as you can-while you carve, infuse the apple with all of the negativity you perceive around you. Raise the apple above the jar and say:

“Evil send must come to rest
Reflect it back to who knows best
Energy spent for evil and bane,
Go back now from whence you came
Far away I send you this hour
May all your attempts to harm turn sour!”

Place the apple in the jar-for best results do this spell for three consecutive nights.
