Third Eye Ritual

Ritual to open your third eye.

Perform this ritual three days before the full moon, preferably when the moon is in the sign of Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio. Begin by brewing a strong tea made from yarrow or Mugwort. Light thirteen candles purple votive candles to help attract psychic influence. Drink tea, stare into a magick mirror, crystal ball or pyramid and chant three times:

“I invoke thee, O Asariel, Archangel of Neptune and Ruler of clairvoyant powers. I ask thee now to open my Third eye. Show me the hidden light. Let me see the future. Let me see the past. Let me perceive the Divine Kingdoms of the unknown. Let me understand the wisdom of the mighty Universe. So Mote It Be!”

After chanting, relax, breathe slowly, and concentrate on opening your third eye. Do not allow any negative thoughts to enter your mind.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for November 19th

The early hours have an upbeat and favorable vibe due to the Moon in Aquarius making a harmonious trine with Jupiter in Gemini (2:49AM PST) followed just one minute later (2:50AM PST) by a Moon-Neptune parallel. Write down your dreams and nocturnal soul-wanderings for future consideration.  Tensions are back and causing a rise in stress as the Moon parallels Saturn (7:06AM PST), Pallas squares Vesta (8:02AM PST), and Mercury makes a frictional, 45-degree tie with Pluto (10:53AM PST). Taking a time-out from business-as-usual during these alignments is sensible.  Love bonds receive a solid lift due to the Moon forming a parallel with Venus (7:36PM PST). Around 21 hours before Pallas shifts gears from reverse to forward, Mercury forms a trine to Pallas in water signs (8:18PM PST). Strategy sessions with a trusted friend or adviser may be in the cards.  Extra hours of rest and sleep are suggested later on since the Sun is parallel Pluto (10:20PM PST), Mercury makes an off-kilter, 150-degree link to Vesta (10:48PM PST) while Mars opposes Ceres (11:17PM PST). Be prepared for tomorrow’s illuminating energy-field.

Hail teacher of warriors!
Hail Lady who hones the edges
Of young hotbloods sharp and keen,
Who cools their seething heads,
Who makes them think of strategy and logic,
Who quickens their reflexes,
Who tempers their dross iron
Into serviceable steel.
Hail Lady of the sword and shield,
Lady of the spear and staff,
Lady many-weaponed, who knows the secrets
Of each killing blow,
Hail Lady of the Isle of Skye,
The crashing waves, the bridge of knives,
The salmon’s leap across the unknown.
You test our strength,
Giving us the cold reality
Of what we can and cannot do.

(The cup of blood is poured out as a libation. Each person steps up to the altar and names something that is difficult for them, where they need to be honed. They indicate one of the practice weapons, and one who has been chosen to do the work of the ritual strikes them three times with it. The first strike should be light, and the second and third strikes harder only if they ask for it to be so. Thus Scathach gives her blessing.)

Feralia: Day of Purification

Color: White

Altar: On a white cloth put a lit candle, incense, a cup of water, and a bowl of salt.
Offering: Although this day is not a day of total silence, it is a solemn day and talking should be done only when necessary and in quiet tones. Bodies should be thoroughly cleaned during the bathing hour, and then the altar area should be cleaned and purified with all four elements. Each person, upon entering the altar space at the beginning of Sponde should remove their clothing and be naked, and each body should be purified with the four elements and marked with water and salt, at which point they may enrobe again. Chores of the day should concentrate on cleaning and repair.
Daily Meal: Vegan and extremely simple and plain.

Feralia Invocation

Breathe the air into your body
And breathe out again,
And as you breathe out,
Let all grime and corruption
Depart on that breath
(All breathe together for twelve breaths.)
Feel the blood coursing through your body
And imagine it clean
Of anything but what should be there.
Feel the energy coursing through your body
And wash it clean
Of anything that does not belong.
Feel the Earth beneath you,
Remember that She can absorb all
Remember that all rot is her provenance
Draw her energy up into you
And give it back again.

(After this grounding, all breathe together again in a yogic breathing pattern for the next half an hour, after which all will go with water and salt and incense and fire to all rooms in the house and cleanse them. Great care should be taken for the rest of the day not to disturb the energy of the freshly cleaned house.)

SPELL TO REFLECT NEGATIVITY

You will need your magic mirror or a consecrated small round mirror, a wide-mouthed glass jar, ashes, vinegar, a knife or something else sharp like a razor blade or piece of broken glass, and an apple.

After sundown, set the jar before the mirror and place in it some ashes.
Fill it up about 2/3 of the way with vinegar.
Take the apple and carve into it something that will represent the person or the negativity which follows or attacks you. Try and make it as clear as you can-while you carve, infuse the apple with all of the negativity you perceive around you. Raise the apple above the jar and say:

“Evil send must come to rest
Reflect it back to who knows best
Energy spent for evil and bane,
Go back now from whence you came
Far away I send you this hour
May all your attempts to harm turn sour!”

Place the apple in the jar-for best results do this spell for three consecutive nights.
