I am sure some of our brothers and sisters were victims of Hurricane Sandy. To see the photos of the destruction this hurricane made, makes me sick. It is horrible to see these people who have lost so much trying to put their lives back together. I saw one poor woman on TV, her house was gone but all she cared about was finding her pictures. She wanted her memories. This terrible storm had even took those away from her. I cannot begin to imagine what the victims of the hurricane must be feeling in its aftermath. To lose, everything, EVERYTHING, it is beyond belief, it’s a nightmare.
I know I moan and groan about this and that. But when I see these people on TV, I become very humble and grateful. My heart goes out to all of them. If you have a minute today, stop and say a prayer for them. If you can donate to the Red Cross, do that. These people, our brothers and sisters, need our help. They will need it not only today but in the many months to come. Keep them in your thoughts daily. Pray for them. Ask the Goddess to comfort and console them during their time of need.
