Cauldron of Cerridwen Brew

Cauldron of Cerridwen Brew

Items Needed:

Boil water in a cauldron over an open fire. Place all ingredients into the cauldron. Sit before it and entrance yourself by watching the flames. Smell its mystic scent and receive wisdom. (Do not drink. Why? It’s poisonous, that’s why)

  1. Okay, why would you post something that is noxious? The whole toxic plant theme is dangerous to the newbie and seasoned practitioners would caution that fire/steam and toxic herbs should only be used in the event of a radical response. Additionally, since you’re giving the potion, why not the correct disposal of the brew (it should not be dumped down the drain, nor poured into the soil). IMAO.

    1. Why did I post this? Simple! When you were young how did you learn about poisonous plants and herbs? You were probably like me, had an Elder teaching you and telling you what was poisonous and what was not poisonous..

If a person comes to this site to learn. Then it is my responsibility to teach them such things. Because if I don’t who will. Which is worse, me teaching them what is poisonous and what is not? Or them picking a batch of these poisonous herbs and indigesting them? There death would be on my conscious. It would be my burden to bear the rest of my life. Because I was cowardly and did not take a stand and teach these people what they need to know.

This mixture can be disposed of, I did not notice that disposal was not mentioned yesterday. This is one of the posts I was transferring over from my old group. I apologize for not posting how to dispose of this mixture. You will need: a piece of saran wrap, a mason jar with a tight fitting lid and also a red candle. Now when the mixture has completely cooled, you pour it into the mason jar. Next, you take the saran wrap and place it over the top of the jar. Make sure you have enough saran wrap that it is below the lid’s level of tightening. Now place the lid on the jar. The excess saran wrap, you now trim to the lid edge. Get as close as possible. Next light the candle, wait for a good drip flow to get started. When the candle has a good drip flow going, you will seal the lid to the jar and also seal the top of the jar (the part were the flat piece and the jar’s rim meet). Now the mixture is safe to dispose of. You can take the mixture to the furthest corner of your property and safely bury it in the Earth.
